Coron, Philippines 🌴

Paradise was waiting…so let’s start with Day 1 of our travels!

Paddle boarding at Two Seasons Resort

Day 1– We flew Cebu Pacific from Shanghai (PVG-Shanghai Pudong International Airport) leaving at 1:05am. Arriving in Manila (MNL-Ninoy Aquino International Airport) at 4:55am. Next flight was 9:35am to Coron (USU-Francisco B. Reyes, Busuanga, Airport ) arriving at 10:55am.

When traveling thru Manila, leave plenty of time for your connecting flight! ☝🏼 Getting from Terminal 3 to Terminal 4 took a bit longer than expected. You can take an internal airport shuttle bus, or take a taxi! Just be prepared to lug around your bags and re-check them in once you’re at T4. Don’t forget to get some Krispy Kreme while you’re at T4, its located before you head through security!

Once in Coron, we were arranged to be picked up by Two Seasons Resort and were whisked away by van to Coron Town, to their sister hotels pier. There, we boarded onto a speed boat and in just 45 minutes we were in bliss.

Our welcome view! Pretty heavenly isn’t it?

We arrived at the Two Seasons-Coron Island (there are several hotels!) around 1pm and were greeted with the most delicious welcome drink (picture below!) and they took us directly to our Mountain Bungalow. A nice spacious room that fit the 3 of us nicely. The rest of the day we literally just paddle boarded and sat by the beach and pool and ordered room service.

Day 2– We started with a yummy buffet breakfast. When I say we did nothing but lay around the pool and beach…I mean it. 💁🏻‍♀️ It’s all we did on our second day. No agenda, no plans. The resort seemed unoccupied as we only saw a few other groups/couples there. So it was like we had the whole place to ourselves! 👌🏼

Day 3. Another buffet breakfast to start the day and by 9am we were checked out and on a speed boat back to Coron Town. We arrived around 10am and Two Seasons staff drove us to the “zip line pier” where we waited for Paolyn Houseboat boat to take us. Arriving to the houseboat by 11:30 (we had to wait for 2 other guests at the pier) we were greeted by Paolo (the owner) and his friendly staff. We had a small lunch, were shown our cute lil suite, and spent the rest of the day kayaking around the close islands. 🚣🏽‍♂️

Our quaint lil houseboat. Click HERE for our suite!

Day 4. This day was busy! Here we go…

We ordered breakfast for 6:30am. Quite early! But with the houseboat, since you are located so close to all the breathtaking views you gotta get to these places early. The houseboat works close in connection with the local tribes that see over the famous lakes and lagoons, so you get first dibs when visiting them which means no people! 👏🏼

We left the house boat at 7:05am to arrive to our first destination….

Kayagan Lake, 7:30am.

It was a small 10-15 minute hike to get to the lake. We were the first ones there and the water was so still and peaceful (until we jumped in)

Barracuda Lake, (aka Luluyan) 8:20am.

Twin Peaks Coral Garden, 9:05am. (Didn’t take any pic/video here) This was our first snorkel spot. So many colorful coral and fish! Was hoping to see turtles, but sadly didn’t see any the entire trip!

-Vivian Beach 9:35am.

Cute small lil beach. With massive palm trees. 🌴 By this time the sun was shining a bit more on the waters making it sparkle and even more blue. 🏝

-10:35am we arrived back at house boat. Where I took a small nap. 😴 And the girls paddle boarded and lounged around. Lunch was served at 11:30 and then at 1pm we were back to 2nd half of tour.

-Atwayan Coral Garden. This was our first stop back on our lil tour. I don’t remember the time we arrived here, I wasn’t able to get any picture/videos here!

Skeleton Wreck 1:55pm.

This was sooo interesting 🧐 A Japanese war ship sunk here during WWII. The water was quite shallow and the wreck is so close to the shore, but by the time we got here there were so many other boats/tourists surrounding the site. We did get in the water to see it up close but it was quite difficult. We left quite quick after arriving.

It’s hard to see the wreckage, but you can see how busy it was at this time!

-Sunset Lagoon with hidden cave/beach 2:20pm

This was probably my favorite of the entire day. There is a secret cave/beach hidden in the rocks. We spent some time in it as we were the only ones there. The sun was beaming so the lighting was beautiful. It was our own lil cave of wonders. After that we went to the small beach right next to it, I’m still surprised as to how no one was here! 😎

Inside the secret cave! Please enjoy Elise singing Britney Spears “I’m not a girl, not yet a woman”

-Banol Beach, 3:15pm.

This was another beach close by with a huge rock formation pertruding out into the water. There were more people at this beach but it was fine!

We had planned to go to another snorkel garden but we were tired from all the sun at this point so just asked our guide, Arjay to take us back.

When we arrived back to our houseboat, we ordered banana shakes (again) 🍌

We ended the long day with a lovely dinner at 7pm. We were quite exhausted from the days activities and all the sun so we had no problem relaxing gazing out at the stars.

Day 5

Another early 6:30am breakfast before we started our last day!

7am we were headed out to Twin Lagoon. Now we could’ve kayaked or paddle boarded here because its so close, but to be honest, we aren’t the most active bunch lol, so our great guide took us! 😬

We were the first to arrive, as usual! The tide was quite low but, wow!, I can’t say enough about the water during this trip! So many shades of blue! 💙

Arriving at Twin Lagoon!

Hidden Lagoon 8am

The sun wasn’t over the islands yet but the lagoon was still so pretty and very calm. Couldn’t really get a good picture here as we just stayed on the lil boat the time.

8:30am we were already back at the houseboat for one last round of paddle boarding/kayaking.

10:30am we were packed and ready to check out/pay our bill at the main houseboat for about an hour before we left for the airport. 😢

Outside our Bamboo suite

Ok if you’re still reading, wow, thank you! 👏🏼That was our trip! It was so amazing and I highly recommend! 💯 I would do it all over again in a heart beat! God’s wonders truly are remarkable! 🙏🏼
